I’m Jessica Grossman and I’m in 4th year honours
specialization in Faculty of Media Studies. I am
hoping to one day work in the advertising or public
relations field. My main ambition, however, is to live
my dream as an actor. I am very involved in the
musical productions at Western, along with many
other activities around campus. I am also the
Spokesperson for IDEAS [Intestinal Disease
Education and Awareness Society] whose goal is to
promote awareness about bowel disease and
ostomies.I joined Alpha Gamma Delta because I
wanted to meet a group of girls I could relate to.
Not only did I find them, but I found friendships
that will last a lifetime.
This is a behind the scenes picture from the Uncover Ostomy photoshoot that Jess did in Vancouver this summer. The Uncover Ostomy project is a project dedicated to spreading awareness about intestinal disease and ostomies. The campaign is set to launch October 3rd in Canada, and October 17th in the US.

Hi y’all!
My name is Shannon Murray and I’m in 4th year
Psychology. In addition to a minor in Thanatology
and I’m finishing off a nursing degree. I also
graduated from Pre-Heath Science at Fanshawe
College three years ago. This is my fourth year
as a cheerleader for the London All-star Vipers
and I am hoping to get my fourth National win
with them. I volunteer with ChildReach at a
local church near UWO campus as well as help
coach a high school cheerleading team. I am also
one of the faces for our school’s Campus Rec. I
joined AGD for the sisterhood, to find other
women who loved being involved in their
communities as much as I do, and to have these
women help guide me into the person I want to
become.
