Founded in 1904, the first chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta in Syracuse, New York, was created with the ideals of friendship, philanthropy, and social
interaction. It is through these ideals that we have achieved the ultimate sisterhood. This bond has allowed us not only to interact with other Greek and
campus organizations, but also the Western community.
We are a sisterhood dedicated to individual creativity, unity and pride. We believe in each other and in our sisterhood. Alpha Gamma Delta is a home away
from home; filled with friendship, sisters and love. Alpha Gamma Delta is the friendship that never ends.
I am not only honored but proud to be this year’s president. I have created a number of amazing bonds with the women in this sorority and university

Tonight the new girls met their sister-mothers. Each new member is assigned a sister mother to guide them through the new member process. The
girls did an activity where they drew out their family trees and learned about their Greek family. We then made memories boxes to hold the future
memories that they will make.

It's crush season! This past weekend AGD had our semi-annual crush party.
What is crush? Each girl anonymously invites their date by having her sisters invite him. She wears
his tie to the party where they meet! Not only does AGD host our own crush party, but some of our
sisters were honoured with invitations to various fraternity crush parties. It was a great weekend.

ALPHA GAMMA DELTA
This afternoon with the support of AXE hair and body
products, Alpha Gamma Delta presented The AXE Effect at
our Chapter House. AXE had kindly offered for us to use
their services for an afternoon so we could wash and style
guys' hair and give them the desired "AXE Effect". Over one
hundred guys visited the AGD house to receive a hair wash and
style for a minimum two dollar donation towards the Alpha
Gamma Delta Foundation!
We were able to raise $517 on our own, which was matched by
AXE for a total of $1034. All donations went directly towards
the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation which supports Juvenile
Diabetes, Research, and Education.
