The Greek community has much to offer women at the University of Western Ontario. Alpha Gamma Delta provides its members with leadership and philanthropic experience, strives to uphold academic excellence, and offers a bond of friendship so unmatched that it can only be called sisterhood.

What is Recruitment?

Recruitment is a weeklong mutual selection process when the women of each chapter get to meet the potential new members interested in joining a sorority. This process occurs every September. During this time, sorority women will have the chance to talk with the potential members and describe the benefits of sorority life. Recruitment is divided into four rounds—round one, two, three and preferentials. As the week progresses, the potential members will learn a little more about what makes each house special. The culmination of Recruitment ends with Bid Day.

What does Alpha Gamma Delta have to offer?

Part of what makes Alpha Gamma Delta so special is its close-knit sisterhood. From the moment a women enters our sisterhood, she is a person who is cared for deeply by all members. Each accomplishment that is made, competition that is won and heart that is broken is met with open arms and warm hearts. It means true friends to return to each school year, a place where fun comes spontaneously, a place to find support and assistance, an opportunity for shaping goals, learning leadership, and sharing ideas. Alpha Gam is a place where you can be yourself! Sisterhood is a friendship that goes beyond the four years of college. Our goal is to provide each member a quality experience, which will enrich her life with friendship and lessons to ensure her success during her college years and beyond. A membership in Alpha Gamma Delta lasts a lifetime. Through many alumnae chapters in United States and Canada, as well as the network of alumnae around the world, members are able to enjoy their sorority beyond college.
